what is favicon?

the icon besides the url in the address bar of the browser, is called favicon. and it's extention is (.ico)

• go to google.com and click on igoogle link on the top-right corner.
• if you are not signed in, sing in with your google id first.
• click on Add Stuff >> link, just on the right side. you will find list of various gadgets.
• go to right on Search for gadgets and search for term 'radio'.
  and choose LabPixies Radio, click on Add it now button.
  go back to igoogle page.
• you will find the radio gadget there on the page. with five tuner buttons to listen different channels.
• set your favourite channels. click on settings icon as displayed in red round in the image.
  it will show the list of stations setted respectively on the buttons.
• click on CHANGE STATIONS button. which will open a new window with the list of stations.
• choose your favourite stations on which station number you want to set it with maximum of 5 stations.

we always looks the texture scraps which representing an image, while viewing profiles on orkut. and then wonders how does one can create the texture block that represent some image. in technical term it is called asciigenerator. and it is very easy to generate by the given tools. here are some freely available tools to generate the ascii texts of an image.

• select the quality (1 for largest = best)
• colour mode

and then just click on render button. which will open a new window with your image in ascii texture format. now copy and paste the whole texture in your friends scrapbook text box. and surprise him/her.
